Corona’s defeat in IPL, two players positive, KKR-RCB match canceled today

The impact of Corona’s defeat is now being felt in the IPL as well.  The match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Bangalore on Monday has been canceled.  According to reports, two Kolkata players have contracted Korona.  

After which this decision has been taken.  Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were scheduled to take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Ahmedabad on Monday in the 30th match of the 14th season of the IPL.  In the Corona crisis, the BCCI called for a strong bio-bubble, after which 29 matches have been played successfully so far.  
All the matches between Chennai and Mumbai have been completed.  But the 30th match of the season at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has now been canceled.

Over the past few weeks, more than three lakh new cases of transition have been coming up in India every day.  
According to official figures, the daily death toll from the corona virus is more than 3,000.  RCB, led by Virat Kohli, who is at the top with 4 wins in a row, has slipped to third position after 2 defeats in the last 3 matches. 
 The Kolkata team has won only 2 out of 7 matches.  It ranks 7th.  That said, players and members staying at the hotel have been banned from ordering meals from outside.  Bubble players will now only be able to eat inside the hotel.  The names of KKR’s Kovid infected players have not been disclosed.
